Employees across RELX Group and its businesses took part in an eight-week campaign to donate as many airline miles as possible to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.
Make-A-Wish grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Whether it’s starring in their own films, going on holiday, meeting a celebrity hero or having a bedroom makeover, Make-A-Wish goes above and beyond to grant wishes to eligible children. Their dreams become a reality at the time when they need it most.
More than 77 percent of wish experiences involve travel. Make-A-Wish needs more than 2.8 billion miles, or 50,000 round-trip tickets, to cover every travel wish each year. The foundation relies on support to help grant these wishes.
Over the last eight weeks employees generously donated their unused airline miles and across RELX Group, we raised over 750,000 miles.
