Hi, I am Claire Jeon working at RX in South Korea. First of all, it is my privilege to be the first person in South Korea to be able to share my profile here.
I joined RELX in March 2017 and before joining, I had worked for a local exhibition company. I wanted to take charge of international exhibitions in a global environment so that I could grow my career, and I was lucky to help establish the RX's Korea office.
I carried out three main projects for the past four years after joining RX in South Korea. They were two new exhibitions including the International Franchise Show.
It was truly exciting to meet the customers with diverse needs while taking charge of the exhibitions of three industries. Yes, of course, it was not easy from conducting market surveys to identifying customer needs of completely different industries. But it was of great encouragement to me to closely cooperate with the global show team of each country as well as the RX International Sales Group and get to know their insights and know-how. The collaboration with the global communities and the talented partners has doubled my capabilities and has been a shortcut to providing the best solutions for customer satisfaction. As an exhibition team, my team and I always try to understand the business of customers by maximizing customer value. From the pre-meeting stage and event preparation point, we are in close contact with customers and keep relationships strong through meetings, emails and virtual conferences. We strive to have customer feedback and insights through the survey to prepare for better service and events in the future.
The uncertain situation around the pandemic is taking a toll on our event industry as well as the world as a whole. Nevertheless, my team and I launched the INTERPHEX Korea online successfully in September 2020 and were able to satisfy the needs of our customers.
I am proud to be part of RELX.
