I joined the LexisNexis Risk Solutions (LNRS) team in October 2017, during the early stages of a project to build a credit bureau (Quod) from scratch in Brazil. Quod is owned by the country’s biggest banks and this was a very high-profile project.
Quod selected LNRS as their strategic technical partner for two primary reasons: our high-powered data processing platform HPCC Systems and our analytics expertise that facilitates a deeper understanding of consumer behaviour. HPCC Systems will allow Quod to efficiently process and analyse complex datasets in a matter of seconds.
During the last three years, I have worked in product management responsible for analytics solutions. LNRS achieve a significant success in Brazil, guaranteeing quality of the products and customer satisfaction. This required collaborative work between engineering, analytics and product teams. Working on this project was a great learning experience for me, but also a pleasure. My communication and negotiation skills were challenged, especially in the last months, when all the teams were working remotely due the pandemic isolation.
Looking to the future, our goal is to continue to push our limits and set the bar high. LexisNexis Risk Solutions is a reference in fraud solutions and we want to expand our business in Brazil, helping organisations to enhance their fraud prevention strategies, while improving the customer experience. Besides our amazing people, our technology tools and innovative mindset are our market differentiators necessary to accomplish this mission.
Throughout my career, I’ve served in a variety of roles, in different companies. As a trained economist, I started my career in more technical roles, working with risk management in banks. Then, I made a career change to product management and finally moved to the technology industry.
LexisNexis has a collaborative environment and a culture that really cares about people and stimulates work-life balance. Here, I have had the opportunity to do an MBA in Digital Marketing supported by the company. It was important for my career development.
Furthermore, it is important to highlight that working for a global company has given me the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from multiple countries and cultures. Last year, I visited the Boca Raton office in the US and had the honour to participate in Diwali celebrations. This is diversity and inclusion in practice.
During my spare time, I enjoy working out and walking with my Pomeranian dog. Also, my husband enjoys riding motorcycles. We love to make the short drive from Sao Paulo to the beach on summer weekends.
