I've had the privilege of working at RELX for nearly a decade, and my journey here has been deeply meaningful and rewarding. What keeps me motivated is the combination of a supportive community and a strong ethical foundation. These values shape not only the work we do, but also how we grow as individuals and as teams. For me, they make every year at RELX both enjoyable and fulfilling.
As an Operations Supervisor, I lead a talented team of 12 professionals based in the Philippines. Each person brings unique strengths and perspectives, and I’m committed to creating an environment where those strengths can shine. I make it a priority to understand each team member’s capabilities, aspirations and areas for development. This helps me align tasks and projects in ways that set individuals up for success and keep the team’s overall performance strong.
Collaboration and open communication are at the heart of how we work. I encourage my team to share their ideas freely, raise challenges early and support one another. We also embrace cross training, which broadens our skill sets and ensures that our team remains adaptable and future ready.
For me, personal and professional development isn’t optional, it’s foundational. Growth enables us to take the next steps in our careers, expand our perspectives and gain wisdom along the way. Leading a team that values learning, collaboration and continuous improvement is one of the most rewarding parts of my role at RELX.
