Our Internal Audit & Assurance team’s mission is to enable better performance through risk assessments, control improvements and governance assurance. Our unique position across RELX allows me to learn more about our business, products, people and customers every day.
I started my career at KPMG in France in 2006 as an external auditor before moving to London in 2010. I have held several other finance, audit and risk management positions before joining the RELX Internal Audit & Assurance team in 2015. I am currently the Head of Financial & Operational Audit. Our team of around 30 people has presence in London, across the US and in the Philippines. As part of my role, I directly manage the financial and operational audit function and oversee the resourcing and delivery of the global RELX annual audit plan.

My role has evolved over the years and my responsibilities increased. I started my career as an Internal Audit Manager and was promoted to Senior Manager level, then to Head of Financial & Operational Audit, which shows the great opportunities RELX offers regarding internal development.
Our team is increasingly focused on technology and ways to perform our work smarter. On selected use cases, we use analytics and responsible AI tools during our audits or to strengthen our reporting/decision making capabilities, as our company also evolves toward increasingly sophisticated information-based analytics and decision tools.
