LexisNexis fosters a culture of creative freedom and ownership, which has allowed me to actively contribute to business goals while constantly pushing myself to learn and grow. I particularly value the collaborative work environment, strong work-life balance, volunteer opportunities and the supportive culture that encourages innovation.
My journey with LexisNexis began in 2016 at the Raleigh office Hackathon event, which led to a summer internship opportunity as a software engineer in 2017. Since then, I have worked at LexisNexis in several evolving roles across software engineering, data science and machine learning. I worked as an intern while finishing my master’s degree at North Carolina State University and joined LexisNexis as a full-time employee after graduation.
Today, I work as a Senior Data Scientist on the Lexis Plus AI team, where I contribute to building intelligent, agentic AI systems that power production applications across legal and enterprise domains. My work focuses on applying modern AI and machine learning techniques to design scalable, reliable solutions that orchestrate multiple components, reason over complex information, and enhance how users interact with data to derive meaningful insights.
Innovation and continuous learning are what excites me most about working at LexisNexis. Many of the challenges we solve involve modernising existing systems with AI-driven and cloud-native approaches. This provides constant opportunities to explore new technologies, improve engineering practices and deliver solutions that create measurable business impact.

Before joining LexisNexis, I worked for several years as a Senior Software Engineer at Bank of America in India. This early experience in large-scale enterprise systems helped me develop a strong foundation in software engineering and an appreciation for diverse teams and perspectives. Working across geographies and cultures has reinforced my belief that diversity of thought leads to stronger and more effective solutions.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports as a hobby. I am an avid cricket player and have played at various competitive levels in India as well as for the North Carolina State Cricket team. In addition to cricket, I enjoy playing badminton and table tennis.
