I lead a fantastic global organisation of Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists and User Researchers at LexisNexis Legal & Professional.
Our primary focus is to build great product experiences for our customers. We look after a variety of software products and work hard to delight our customers and make them more productive.
My team is a very diverse workforce, based in multiple countries across the globe.
I live in Silicon Valley, California and when I’m not there, I travel frequently to our various offices. We are fortunate to collaborate with many smart, driven and customer focused employees in each location in which we operate.
Before joining LexisNexis in late 2015, I worked at a variety of startups and some larger companies, like Microsoft and eBay. In addition to Silicon Valley, I previously spent time in Seattle, Austin, New York and Paris. This diverse background helps me to better appreciate and understand our global customer base.
Partly because of my engineering background, I am especially passionate about bringing advanced technologies and techniques to help innovate. From machine learning, natural language processing, analytics visualisation to data driven decision making, user-centred design and various artificial intelligence approaches – all focused on making our products as useful as possible.
Beyond our products, I am proud of the commitment LexisNexis has to the Rule of Law. There are strong correlations between countries that have a robust legal system and high GDP, low crime, low corruption, etc. We partner with customers and government organisations like the United Nations to help growing countries establish a Rule of Law. These investments help to bring a lot of meaning to the work we do every day.
