I lead a diverse group of sales professionals selling our risk solutions to United States Federal Government across all markets including Law Enforcement, Health and Human Services as well as Tax & Regulatory agencies.

We strive, through the combination of our data, our customers’ data and advanced analytic solutions, to assist our customers in better serving their communities.

Prior to joining LexisNexis I was an in-house litigator with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Since joining LexisNexis in 1999 I have had the opportunity to hold leadership positions across the LexisNexis portfolio including LexisNexis Legal & Professional, LexisNexis Business of Law Software Solutions and most recently LexisNexis Risk Solutions. In many ways the ability to explore different roles within many different parts of our organisation is one of the benefits I really enjoy about working at RELX.

Moving around the organisation has given me great exposure to the breadth and depth of our diverse talent as well as the opportunity to be exposed to many of our different customers across several markets, another great opportunity that I have relished.

My current role has given me great exposure to the ways in which our technology helps our customers better serve their customers. A good example of this is our project with the National Accuracy Clearinghouse, which uses our technology to help States better identify people receiving benefits in multiple State SNAP programmes (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). This allows States to insure that their programme benefits are reaching those truly in need, that people are not receiving multiple benefits to which they are not entitled and that sufficient resources exist in the programme to meet all those who need it. This type of work truly has a positive impact on our customers and society in general.

Recently, I was fortunate to have been able to plan a LexisNexis Cares day with my team and some of our colleagues from other parts of the company. We volunteered at a local animal shelter and helped prepare the facility for their upcoming 100th anniversary celebration. The team had a great time helping out and our service was greatly appreciated by the folks at the facility. It was a great team building event. I appreciate that our organisation is so committed to providing service to the broader communities in which we live and work.
