I firmly believe in fostering an inclusive culture where diversity is celebrated. Although open communication about disabilities can sometimes be uncomfortable, it is crucial for making meaningful progress

I began my User Experience (UX) career journey with LexisNexis Legal & Professional (LNLP) in 2014. Since then, my role has evolved from focusing on content, accessibility and design to encompass research operations and employee engagement within the UX group. Furthermore, I serve as a board member of the RELX Accessibility Advisory Board and was honored with the RELX Accessibility Leadership Award in 2020.

As the founder and president of the LNLP Enabled Disability Employee Resource Group (ERG), I lead efforts to create inclusive environments for colleagues with disabilities. We regularly organise training sessions, webinars and events to enhance disability awareness, debunk myths and reduce stigma. Our ERG works closely with the RELX Disability Accommodations Team to recommend assistive technologies and communicate to colleagues who are interested in this topic. I firmly believe in fostering an inclusive culture where diversity is celebrated. Although open communication about disabilities can sometimes be uncomfortable, it is crucial for making meaningful progress. During my tenure, LNLP has been named as best place to work for disability inclusion by Disability:IN in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

I am also passionate about collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to promote and advance responsible technology. RELX is committed to contributing to initiatives that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our ERG’s mission is particularly aligned with Goal 10, which focuses on reducing inequality by empowering and promoting the inclusion of all individuals, including those with disabilities. I have personally contributed to several RELX responsible technology related projects that address AI and disabilities. This includes providing input on the development of responsible AI principles at RELX, creating inclusive AI products, and representing RELX at various diversity conferences. These efforts are part of our broader mission to ensure that our technological advancements are inclusive and ethically sound.
