I'm a software developer based in London and have been part of RELX since 2021. Before joining RELX, I worked as a developer in India's fintech industry, where I built my foundations in software engineering and problem-solving. Today, I work on an AI platform that helps tax professionals find reliable answers quickly from large volumes of complex information. What I enjoy most about my role is seeing how technology can help customers work more efficiently and spend less time searching for information.
On a typical day, I write code, collaborate closely with product teams to understand and refine requirements, test new functionality and work with colleagues across engineering teams to deliver features that solve real customer problems. I also spend time exploring AI coding tools and new ways of working that can help improve both productivity and quality.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is knowing that the work I do has a direct impact on customers. Tax professionals often need to find answers across many different sources of information. By using our AI platform, they can quickly access relevant insights, helping them complete tasks faster, make more informed decisions and focus on higher-value work.
Since joining RELX, I've learned a great deal, both technically and professionally. Being part of an AI-first environment has given me opportunities to learn, experiment and continuously develop. I've had the opportunity to work on innovative AI products, take ownership of meaningful projects and learn from talented colleagues across different teams and disciplines.
