I’m a Performance Test Engineer with over nine years of experience in performance testing and engineering. I’ve been with Risk nearly three years, and it’s been an exciting journey filled with learning, innovation and collaboration. My role is to make sure customer applications don’t slow down or break when lots of people use them at the same time. I test applications under heavy load, identify performance bottlenecks and work with teams to make sure that when an end user clicks a button during an important transaction, the system simply works.
A big part of my role now is exploring how new technologies can make performance testing faster, smarter and less manual. Over the last year, I’ve brought AI into our everyday work - using it to generate and improve test scripts, automate repetitive analysis and speed up reporting. The real win is spending less time on busywork and more time understanding what the system is telling us and how to improve it.
Alongside my core role, I’m the co-lead and part of the advisory committee for our Enabled Employee Resource Group in Chennai, where I help build disability confidence and create a more inclusive workplace. I’m also a security champion, helping spread security awareness across teams. I enjoy sharing what I learn too, whether that’s training teammates, speaking at summits or pitching new ideas.
I work closely with managers, developers and quality assurance engineers across multiple products and regions, so no two days are ever quite the same. Since joining RELX, one of the biggest things I’ve learned is how much room there is to keep growing if you’re willing to push yourself - improving processes, experimenting with AI, exploring new tools and looking for smarter ways to work. Curiosity, experimentation and continuous improvement are genuinely valued here.
